About 2:30 AM Ashley come in to get us and said " Dad come and look" I said "its to early go back to bed ." Oh how many times I heard that , now I am saying it. I guess she is keeping the Davis tradition. So around 6:30 we started. Santa did stop, but did leave a lot less than years past, it was much nicer actually. The kids received some Hannah stuff, and craft type toys, such as book making kits, sock puppet making kits and art sets. And the usual cloths ect. They are happy. Amy and I chose to give most of our Christmas to others. We had a party for friends and gave to their kids, as well as secretly helping a family who is in need here locally, we are glad we did this it is nice to give happiness to those in need. But, Ashley said " Santa forgot Mom and Dad , I guess that you were BAD Parents this year!" Talk about catch you off guard then she said "just kidding". Whew!!!! The Girls and I did get Amy some new China she has been wanting though, and I received a new holster and gun belt for one of my .44 pistols. It has been snowing so we are enjoying staying inside and watching the fire. Amy's parents came to visit and we had a little brunch. We are not looking forward to the Christmas clean-up though.

Looks like you had a great Christmas! We are trying to shovel our way out again this morning. But, it's nice to have a white holiday. I am looking at the mess in my front room and dreading putting everything away... My kids made it til 6am and finally got me out of bed at 6:30. Usually they sleep in longer but I guess since they're getting older they get more excited. We cut back this year with the toys also and seemed to buy more clothes for the kids. We also helped out a family in need and that was real fun for the kids. Hope to see you on New Years Eve at our Bingo party! Love you!
