New Years goal Broken!

Oh how long its been. Okay one of my new year goals was to try to put a post up at least once a week, as a way to keep in touch. OOPS . Time goes by to fast, and I never have liked making resolutions or new year goals anyway, I always figured if something needs changing why not do it now instead of waiting for a new year, or thats my escuss anyway
To get up to speed with what has been going on we have just been consitrating on our food storage, ammunition and emergency goods, as well as silver and gold coins. Maybe I have become an extremist, but it sure doesn't look good, all that is going on politically. Oil prices falling and the economy following you would think they could make the connection. Drilling companies have scaled back here some but are still hanging on, everyone keeping their fingers crossed. Like I learned in scouts BE PREPARED.  I have to say I am with Rush, I hope he doesn't succeed because that means socialism succeeds. I want America and freedom to succeed, small business constitutional rights, no abortions, no terrorists set free, and stop messing with our currency or it will fail! UGH!!!!!!
I just stepped off my soapbox, so those of you still with me, thank you.  Since the last post we have also been doing some sledding, snow machining and seen a few movies. The girls also cheered at one of the basketball games, they liked that alot. I also bought a steer to raise again, but this time I did put my brand on it, had the brand for a few years now and finally applied it. The S / D ( pronounced S slash D ). We also have a colt coming at the end of February, getting excited for that.

  1. Wow..guess we know whose house to come to in an emergency! As for us, we have our water storage. Just hope there's never an emergency in the winter though because ours it outside, frozen. Are you burying those gold and silver coins somewhere? Make a treasure map!

Don't go into panic mode Spence. Like Karen says- the worse has to happen before the best can happen. :-)
