Trouble comes in four, right? At least here anyway. We have been enjoying the Mild winter at home. Warm weather has allowed the kids to ride the four wheeler a lot and play outside. Ashley seems to help keep us in line, she says " don't make me get my flicker out", ( she flicks everyone with her forefinger when they don't cooperate). Thursday was library day for Natalie, who is potty training, upon arrival she said she had to potty. Amy got her out of the truck and said she wait here while she got Chelsea. When she came back around the truck she found Natalie with drawers down, squatting on the sidewalk. There are some events when a father just has to stand back with a tear in his eye and say " That's my girl!".

Been snowmaching the last few weekends, snow is not looking good. Middle Piney has mostly bare ground, Labarge Creek has around 5'. We went a few good rides through laBarge meadows and poison meadows, stopped at warming hut for lunch and yesterday made a great boondocking ride from clear creek to the top of commissary ridge, rode it down until fontenelle lake and dropped of commissary , (what a rush!) and back out through scaler cabin. 84 miles total, made it back on fumes. There is no better way to celebrate manhood than to go riding( an Arctic Cat of course).
That's a great story. I choked up a bit myself. Maybe we'll see you guys this weekend at the open house.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are being extremely careful while on the skidoo.... That is so funny about Natalie. At least she didn't pee her pants! And tell Ashley she'd better bring her flicker to my house- Claire needs it! LOL
