Today we went on a family trip to Granite Hot Springs with some friends. If you haven't been before it is fun. Winter time you ride snowmachines in about 10 miles. There you pay your government more money to swim, I guess the costs to heat the natural hot springs or something, change into your suits and jump in. It was about -13 degrees when we left the truck, so the water felt great. Ashley and Maggie rode with Blake and Becky while Mom and Natalie rode with me. Chelsea was with a sitter. The water temp is around 112 degrees at the inlet but through out the pool is a comfortable 85 to 90. We swam for a few hours then rode back and had lunch along the way(at the falls). It is a tourist destination and that takes away some enjoyment for me, but it can be a little comic relief to watch them. The kids love it, swimming outside in the winter and a snowmobile ride, what a day. We decided that this is the most awesome place for a snowball fight, throwing them across the pool while still in it. We also learned that Texans do not appreciate a good canon ball next to them, we shouted while in flight, I don't know what the problem was. I guess nobody want to have fun any more, even in their eighties. The weather warmed up to a very nice 30 above and you couldn't ask for a better day. Tomorrow is the Shriner's Cutter races in Jackson so look for the next post. Happy Valentines Day everyone.

:) Hope your little family is doing great! So you did get a copy of the DVD? I was wondering because your mom ordered one short for your whole family...I was going to send you one... But good that you got one. Thanks! I'm sure that I'll be doing more...we'll keep you posted...!
